Curriculum and Philosophy
TEACHING THE WHOLE CHILD

Our program is designed to be a multi-faceted approach to early childhood education. We strive to teach the whole child, meaning we not only educate to reach intellectual and cognitive milestones, but value and teach important social and emotional learning skills, self awareness and self regulation; and our daily activities foster creativity and unique abilities. We achieve this "whole child" approach by using a multiple instructional approach to increase children’s opportunities for learning. Our curriculum is a blended one with emphasis on Frog Street Press, Conscious Discipline, Montessori and the Second Step Character Development Program.

Value of Play
"PLAY IS THE WORK OF CHILDHOOD"
Learning through play is accepted by professionals and education experts as one of the most important ways that children learn and develop. Children demonstrate their remarkable ability for exploration, imagination and decision making.

Play can also support learning across physical, social, emotional, and intellectual areas of development as well as learning in different content areas including early literacy, math and science.

The children at Inspirations Learning Center enjoy daily experiences such as Spanish and sign language. Opportunities are also available for the children to participate in extracurricular activities such as ballet, gymnastics, yoga, baseball and soccer.
